DUI-Drugs in Coventry

ACCUSED: Christina Michaud                                                                     

AGE: 32

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Topsham, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 08/20/2016 at approximately 1215 hours, troopers responded to a report of an erratic driver.  Dispatch reported that a caller had observed a vehicle, later found to be operated by Michaud, weaving across lanes of travel and running through stop signs before pulling into Martha’s Diner on Rte 5 in Coventry.

Troopers encountered Michaud at Martha’s Diner, and subsequent investigation indicated that she had operated a motor vehicle on a public highway while under the influence of drugs.  Michaud’s license to operate a motor vehicle was also found to be suspended.  A PBT indicated a BAC of 0.000%.

Michaud was arrested on suspicion of DUI-Drugs, and transported to the Derby barracks, where she was processed and released on a citation.  Michaud was also ticketed for operating after suspension-civil.
