side and front end.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On August 20, 2016 at approximately 0555 hours the Vermont
State Police were called to a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash on Cambridge
Road in Fletcher, Vermont.

The Vermont State Police responded to the scene and determined that there were
no injuries or hazards. The vehicle, a black 2010 Toyota Yaris, operated by
Walter Button, 25, of Hinesburg, Vermont, had gone off of the roadway and
crashed into multiple trees. His passenger was Brandon Lawrence, 18, of
Burlington, Vermont.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling North
on Cambridge Road when it went off of the roadway and crashed.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle's owner had reported it stolen.
The Burlington Police Department requested that Button and Lawrence be given a
citation to appear to the Chittenden County Superior Court for a violation of
Title 23, Vermont Statutes Annotated Section 1094.

Due to Button's actions that resulted in the motor vehicle crash, he was
transported back to the VSP St. Albans barracks. He was processed and released
on a citation to appear to the Franklin County Superior Court for a violation of
Title 23, Vermont Statutes Annotated Section 1091.
