SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 16 July 2016 at 0003 hours Vermont State Police-St. Albans were called to investigate an underage drinking party on South Road in Fairfield, VT. St. Albans Police Department assisted with this incident.

This case was very involved with several moving parts. There were numerous underage people at the location and they were processed with tickets to those who violated the law.

One male, Colby Bushey (20 years old of St. Albans, VT) was causing a belligerent ruckus, disobeyed commands, and attempted to push Troopers. Bushey was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Later on at the State Police Barracks, Bushey again disobeyed orders, attempted to fight with Troopers, and resisted arrest.

Subsequently, Bushey was transported to Northwest Correction Center to Detox and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County District Court on August 22, 2016 at 1300 hours to answer to the above charges.
