*** MISSING PERSON, REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ***

 

On July 24th2016, at approximately 2030 hours, Jason Fournier DOB: 04/05/1981 and Ambyr Tripp DOB: 07/07/2008, were reported missing after leaving to go canoeing earlier in the afternoon. Fournier and Tripp were last seen walking north on Main Street in Lyndonville, Vermont, pulling a small brown metal canoe on top of a skateboard. It is believed that Fournier and Tripp launched into the Passumpsic River, from either Powers Park or the closed covered bridge behind the LynBurke Motel in Lyndonville.  

 

Ambyr Tripp is approximately 94 lbs, with short, curly blond hair and brown eyes. Ambyr was last seen wearing a black bathing suit, with white flowers and a dark blue life jacket.

Jason Fournier is approximately 6’0”, average build, with long brown hair and was last seen wearing a white tank top and black Bob Marley shorts.

The canoe is described as being metal and painted brown, with large pink bean bag chairs as seats.

 

Anyone with information about this incident or with information as to the location of Fournier and Tripp are asked to immediately contact the Vermont State Police at 802-748-3111.
