LOCATION: Trailhead/parking lot West River Road and Williamsville Road

VIOLATION: Grand Larceny, Unlawful Mischief

 ACCUSED: Unknown

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On July 25th 2016, at approximately 1628 hours, a member from the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks responded to a complaint of vandalism from a motor vehicle at the trailhead/parking lot on West River Road and Williamsville Road in the Town of Dummerston. This incident took place between 1200 and 1530 hours. Entry was gained into the vehicle through a broken window. Several personal items were taken from the motor vehicle, including cash. A second vehicle had a broken window but no personal items were missing. Two suspicious trucks were seen earlier in the day in that location and were described to be an older model navy blue Chevy Silverado with a cab in the back and an older model white truck.

On July 26th, 2016, at approximately 1659 hours, the Vermont State Police received a similar complaint of a motor vehicle that had been vandalized via a broken window. No property was taken and it is believed it occurred between 1200 and 1645 hours. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Diaz at the Westminster Barracks.
