PRESS RELEASE / MISSING PERSON / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

The Vermont State Police - Brattleboro Barracks is attempting to locate 72 year-old Eugene Mason, who was last seen at the Killington Fire Station on July 12, 2016 at approximately 0904 hours.

 

Mason left his residence in St. Augustine, FL on the morning of July 11, 2016, and was traveling to Jamaica, VT to visit a friend. On the morning of July 12th he stopped at the Killington Fire Department to ask for directions to his friend’s residence in Jamaica and has not been seen or heard from since.

 

Mason is a diabetic and unfamiliar with the area. Mason is reportedly operating a tan 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck bearing FL registration “CRCG80”. Mason has been entered into NCIC as a missing person.
