Press Release / DUI refusal - Unlawful Mischief

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On July 27, 2016 at 11:27 PM Vermont State Police stopped Jeffrey Breault who was stopped in the travel
portion of the exit 9 off ramp of interstate 91N in the Town of Hartland and was standing outside of his vehicle in the travel portion of the off ramp.

While speaking with Breault Troopers observed signs of possible intoxication.
Breault was screened and taken into custody.  While in the cruiser Breault damaged the Department Shotgun which was secured in the gun rack of the cruiser.

Breault was transported to the Windsor Police Department for processing.  Breault was later released on a citation to appear in Windsor Superior Court;
Criminal Division on August 16, 2016 to answer to the charges of DUI-Refusal and Unlawful Mischief.
