SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On this date and time, Vermont State Police received a report from a male at 1734 Bemis Hill Road in the Town of Westminster (Windham County) Vermont, advising that his ex-wife pulled a gun on him.
Investigation revealed that this male went to 1734 Bemis Hill Road in Westminster to pick up his 12 year old son, when a verbal fight broke out between him and his ex-wife, 45 year old Brenda Barbour. Barbour at some point during the verbal altercation told the male to leave her house or she would shoot him.
According to the male, as he was leaving the property, Barbour came up behind him and placed a .22 caliber pistol flush against the back of his head and stated that she wanted to blow his brains out. The male advised he ran out of the residence and later called Vermont State Police to report the incident.
Barbour was subsequently arrested for First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, for being armed with a deadly weapon and threatening to use the deadly weapon on
Barbour is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on July 19th, 2016 at 1230 hours to answer to the above charge.
