SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On July 24th, 2016 at approximately 1538 hours State Troopers assigned to the St. Albans Barracks were notified of a 911 hang-up call originating at 1305 Bogue Road, Enosburg. Upon meeting with the victim, a domestic assault investigation was started.

Over the course of the investigation, it was determined that the victim was assaulted by Corey Mott. Mott was located several miles from the residence walking along the side of the road. He was subsequently arrested. At the time of his arrest Mott was on probation and was therefore lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility without bail. Mott was cited to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court on July 25th, 2016 to answer the charges of Domestic Assault and Interference with Access to Emergency Services.
