Disorderly Conduct Arrest in Londonderry

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Londonderry, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On this date and time, Vermont State Police received a call from Rebecca Lewis at 149 Magic Circle in the Town of Londonderry (Windham County) Vermont, advising that she has an ongoing issue with her neighbor and that he threatened her children today. 

Vermont State Police made contact with Rebecca Lewis and some other neighbors on Magic Circle and discussed the problems they were having.  Rebecca Lewis and other neighbors advised that 51 year old Gregory Benedict has been harassing and threatening them for months.  Rebecca Lewis and other neighbors on Magic Circle were genuinely concerned for their families’ safety.  Based on written statements given by the concerned citizens in the neighborhood and the ongoing problem with Gregory Benedict, Vermont State Police decided to cite Benedict into court. 

Gregory Benedict was subsequently issued a criminal citation for Disorderly Conduct and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on August 9th, 2016 at 0800 hours to answer to the above charge.
