LOCATION: Intersection of Kelly Cross Road and West Salisbury Road, Salisbury, Vermont

DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE: Silver SUV significant front end passengers side damage

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: left several head lights and front passenger bumper at the scene

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

New Haven State Police are requesting assistance in any information regarding a traffic collision that occurred on Tuesday June 7, 2016.  Witnesses report seeing a silver SUV traveling at a high rate of speed on Kelly Cross Road in the Town of Salisbury.  The unknown vehicle failed to negotiate a right hand turn on to West Salisbury Road and drove onto the front lawn of the residence at 1563 West Salisbury Road.  The vehicle struck a 20 foot pine tree, uprooting it and continued to gouge the front lawn in a sweeping right turn, spinning wheels and continuing west on West Salisbury Road.  The witness stated that operator was a white male driving a silver SUV.  This incident is reported to have occurred in the late afternoon between 3:00-4:30 (pm).
