SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 06/15/16 at approximately 1220 hours the Vermont State Police in Shaftsbury received a report of domestic violence that reportedly occurred at a residence on Kenney Farm Road in Sunderland.  Investigation determined that a verbal dispute occurred between Winchell and the victim, as the victim was sitting in their car.  Winchell struck the hood of the victim’s vehicle with her hand, causing minor damage.  Winchell subsequently struck the victim once they stepped out of their vehicle causing a minor injury.  Winchell was taken into custody and transported to the Shaftsbury barracks for processing.  Winchell was released on conditions.
