SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 06-23-2016 at approximately 1920 hours the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Dorset Hill Road, located in the Town of Dorset with unknown injuries. Upon arrival on scene, the operator, Kevin J. Sprague (66) of Dorset VT, had to be extracted from the vehicle by Manchester Rescue and Dorset Fire. Sprague was subsequently flown to Albany Medical Center for possible head and internal injuries. It was determined Sprague was travelling south on Dorset Hill Road and lost control of his vehicle. Sprague struck a tree while sliding down the road. The impact caused his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike another tree down a small embankment. Sprague's vehicle sustained substantial damage as a result of the crash. Criminal charges are pending as a result of the incident.
