Case # 16A302506, Fire Investigation
Investigators: Detective Sergeant Todd Ambroz - Vermont State Police;  Assistant Fire Marshal Chris Boyd – Division of Fire Safety
Date: 6/18/16 at approximately 3:30 PM

On June 18th, 2016 at approximately 3:30 PM the Barre Town Fire Department and Police Department responded to a fire at 279 Websterville Road.  A small fire on the outside wall of a business was reported by a passing motorist.  The fire was extinguished and there was minimal damage to the structure.  Due to the fire being on the outside of the business and no sources of ignition were located nearby the Fire Chief requested an origin and cause investigation be conducted.  The investigation is ongoing and anyone having any information regarding what may have occurred it asked to contact the Barre Town Police, Det. Sgt. Ambroz of the Vermont State Police, or by calling the Vermont Arson Tip Award Program line at 1-800-32-ARSON.
