SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 06/11/16, at approximately 6:23 pm, members of the Vermont State Police, responded to a single vehicle crash on US Route 5, in the Town of Dummerston. Upon arrival, Tracy J. Leavy, 33, of Dummerston, VT was being checked by members of the West Dummerston Fire Department for minor injuries. Tracy was identified as the operator of a 2007 Honda Accord.  Tracy advised she lost control of her vehicle after she attempted to avoid hitting a squirrel, causing her to crash into a wooden fence. Tracy was subsequently transported by Rescue Inc. to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for her injuries. The Honda Accord was towed by Brattleboro Towing.
