SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On June 23, 2016 at 5:14PM Vermont State Police stopped Alfred Zera for driving while using a hand held electronic device on Route 5 in the Town of Hartford.  During the stop Troopers noticed signs of impairment.

Zera was found to have a preliminary blood alcohol concentration of .088%.

Zera was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hartford Police Department where he was processed.  Zera was later released on a citation to appear in Windsor Superior Court; Criminal Division on July 14, 2016 to answer to the charge of DUI#2.  Zera will be mailed a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for operating a vehicle while using a hand held electronic device.
