SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 6.20.16, Troopers from the Royalton barracks responded to a residence on Vermont Route 125, in the Town of Hancock, Vermont for a report if a domestic assault.

Investigation revealed that Steve Maxwell assaulted his girlfiend, who is also a caretaker for.

Maxwell was charged with aggravated domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services and abuse of a vulnerable adult. The courts were contacted and Maxwell was issued conditions of release with a court date.
