SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 06/01/16, at approximately 10:11 PM, the Vermont State Police along with the Windham County Sherriff's Department investigated a single vehicle collision on US Route 5, in the Town of Vernon, in Windham County, Vermont.    At the time of the collision, the roadway, which was blacktop was clear of any debris or hazards and the weather was clear and cool.  The investigation revealed that Jordan Peduzzi, age 29, was operating a Yamaha 600 motorcycle, south on US Route 5, near the Vernon/Guilford town line when he failed to navigate a sharp right curve in the road.  Peduzzi lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a guardrail on the west side of the road.  Peduzzi was ejected from the motorcycle after the collision.  The motorcycle traveled approximately 250 feet south on US route 5, after it struck the guardrail.  Peduzzi was pronounced deceased upon the arrival of the medical personnel.  Peduzzi's will be transported to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office, in Burlington, for further examination.  The investigation is ongoing at this time and anyone with information regarding the crash is encouraged to contact Deputy Ian Tuttle, at the Windham County Sheriff's Department.
