SUMMARY OF CRASH: State Police responded to a report of a two vehicle crash on Memorial Drive in St. Johnsbury on 06/09/2016 at approximately 1404 hours. Upon arrival, Troopers learned the driver responsible for the rear end crash had fled the scene. Investigation found that a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta had struck the rear end of a 2009 Dodge Caliber driven by Carmine Lawson as it was stopped in traffic waiting to make a left turn. Witnesses at the scene provided a description of the vehicle which was later stopped by Lyndonville Police on Red Village Road in Lyndonville.

  On 06/15/16 Troopers issued Bailey Kuk a citation to appear in Caledonia County Court for leaving the scene of a crash. He was also issued a traffic citation for following too closely. There were no injuries in the crash.
