SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On June 19, 2016 Vermont State Police St. Albans received a call of a two vehicle crash on Beebe Rd and County Rd in the Town of Swanton, VT. Prior to arriving, dispatch advised the responding Trooper that there were witnesses still on scene.

Once on scene, witnesses stated the operator of the black Chevy truck later identified as Philip Barron (28) of South Hero was spinning his tires and driving recklessly. He then rear ended a 2010 Honda Civic operated by Pamela Bushey (59) who was uninjured. Further investigation into the crash determined that Barron was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and had a BAC content of .268%. Barron was then transported to the barracks for further processing. Both Barron and Bushey were uninjured in the crash.

Philip Barron was charged with DUI and Careless and Negligent Operation of a vehicle and will appear in Franklin County Superior Court on July 5, 2016 at 1pm.
