SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

                On June 8, 2016, at approximately 0900 hrs, a Welfare Check was requested to Vermont State Police for Elaine Duden (age 71) at her residence in
Eden, VT.  Duden was not at home, and her whereabouts were unknown. A BOL was issued for her vehicle. Duden was found by US Border Patrol on VT RT 105 near the Dairy Center in Enosburg. VSP responded and after a short investigation it was determined that Duden was Driving Under the Influence. Duden refused to provide a roadside Preliminary Breath Test. She was taken into custody and processed at the State Police Barracks.
