SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 6/16/16 at 07:10 Vermont State Police responded to a one vehicle crash on

I91, at mile marker 42n, in Springfield. There were no reported injuries.

Springfield Fire and ambulance responded. Jake Schevling was traveling north and

he fell asleep driving his 2013 Nissan Versa. The Nissan travelled into the

grassy portion of the median and continued parallel with the highway for

approximately 300 feet. The Nissan struck trees causing damage to the front end

and caused it to roll onto its side. OP1 and the passenger exited the vehicle on

their own and did not sustain any injuries. The Nissan was towed from the scene.

Schevling was issued a warning for violating Title 23 VSA 1038, Roadways laned
