SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On the early morning or 5-6-16, State Police were dispatched to a report of a car versus pedestrian crash on High Street in Lyndonville, VT. Upon arrival, Troopers observed Villeneuve (25) under the vehicle that was operated by Millien (22). During the investigation it was learned that Millien was traveling north on High Street as Villeneuve was traveling south on a skateboard in the travel portion of the roadway. Vehicle 1 subsequently struck Villeneuve and he became stuck underneath the vehicle. Villeneuve was transported by Lyndon Rescue to the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. Villeneuve was later transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Members from Lyndonville Fire Department and CALEX Ambulance assisted at the scene. The investigation into this crash is still ongoing at this time and anyone who may have witnessed this crash or may have relevant information regarding this crash is encouraged to contact Trooper Seth Loomis at (802)748-3111.
