SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above time and date, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks responded to a single motor vehicle crash on US Route 7 in the Town of Wallingford, Vermont. Prior to first responders arrival, it was advised that the operator was ejected from the vehicle and unconscious. Upon arrival, the vehicle had traveled off the northbound side of the roadway facing south before coming to a controlled rest. The operator had exited the vehicle under her own ability and was sitting on the ground next to the vehicle. The single occupant of the vehicle was identified as Grace Ma-Sheenbergen. Ma-Sheenbergen was treated for minor injuries on scene by Regional Medical Service before being released. During a conversation with Troopers, Ma-Sheenbergen displayed signs of impairment. Ma-Sheenbergen refused the roadside preliminary breath test (PBT). Ma-Sheenbergen was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Rutland State Police Barrack for processing. Ma-Sheenbergen was released to the hospital and given a citation to appear at court on June 13th 2016. Ma-Sheenbergen, provided a partial PBT which showed a .309 BAC at approximately 1715 hours, approximately 5 hours after the crash.
