SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On the above date and time Vermont State Police were dispatched to Vermont Route 30 in the Town of Wells, Vermont for a reported single vehicle crash. Upon arrival Troopers discovered the operator (Neil Rosen) had been involved in the crash. Investigation revealed Rosen had been traveling south on Vermont Route 30. Rosen was operating a 2005 Saab, SAA-93. Investigation revealed Rosen had driven off the west shoulder of the roadway. Rosens’ vehicle collided with a large tree off the west shoulder of the roadway. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn before coming to a position of uncontrolled rest north of the intersection of Little Lake East Road. Rosen had not been wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle.
Rosen exhibited signs of impairment. Rosen was unable to provide a breath sample and provided a sample of blood. Results pending lab testing.
Rosen sustained significant injury and was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center by Granville Rescue Squad. Rosen was later flown by Dart helicopter to Albany Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
