SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
VPS Williston Dispatch received a report of a single vehicle break-in at the Sterling Pond Trail-head parking lot located on Rte 108 in the town of Cambridge.
Upon arriving at the scene, it was learned that sometime during a two hour period, Dinh's front passenger side window had been smashed out and several items to include a black purse were stolen from the vehicle. At this time, the incident is still under investigation and anyone with information pertaining to this theft is asked to call the VSP Williston Barracks at (802)878-7111.
VSP Troopers continue to urge people not to leave valuables locked in their vehicles. If you must bring something, remember to take it out of plain view if not lock it in your trunk. Help us prevent you from becoming a victim and plan ahead.
