SUMMARY OF CRASH: On May 9, 2016, at approximately 2:30 P.M. a 2007, International, utility truck, owned by Hi Way Safety Systems Inc. and operated by Ryan Hammond, 22, of Rutland, Vermont, was traveling east on Guilford Center Road. This vehicle was assisting with the line painting operation in the Guilford area. As the vehicle made a right turn onto Weatherhead Hollow Road, it struck a pedestrian standing on the side of the road, and then made contact with the bridge. The pedestrian received no reported injuries and the bridge sustained no obvious damage. State Police are investigating this crash and are looking to speak with any witnesses.
