SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On May 23, 2016 at approximately 2:45 pm, a member of the Vermont State Police attempted stopped a vehicle at the Exit #3 Mobile Gas Station in Brattleboro for speeding on Interstate 91 northbound in the Work Zone in Brattleboro. Investigation revealed that the vehicle’s operator, Mr. Scott M Roggensack, 30 formally of East Barre, as operating the vehicle after his license had been criminal suspended for DUI.
Mr. Roggensack was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest issued out the Vermont Superior Court, Washington Criminal Division. The warrant, docket number 520-5-16Wncr, was issued on May 9, 2016 for the offence of Retail Theft, $900 or less.
Mr. Roggensack was arrested and transported to the State Police barracks in West Brattleboro for processing. After processing Mr. Roggensack was issued a citation to report to the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division in Windham on July 12, 2016 at 8:00 am for arraignment on the charge of Operating a Vehicle after License Suspension.
Mr. Roggensack was subsequently transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility (SSCF) in Springfield in lieu of bail on the warrant issued out of Washington County.
