            On May 31, 2016 at approximately 1717 hours a call went to E911, then subsequently to Vermont State Police Dispatch, St. Albans. The caller was an alert friend of the resident who made the observation of a male that entered the unoccupied residence of Larry Benoit. The caller reported that he caught the male in the residence who wasn’t supposed to be there and that he had the male at knifepoint awaiting law enforcement response.

            Troopers responded to the residence and found Justin Lambert inside. Lambert was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks for processing. A judge was contacted and set bail at $25,000.00. Lambert was subsequently transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans. He is due to be in court on June 01, 2016, to answer for the charge of burglary.
