SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On April 17, 2016 at approximately 0730 hours a purse was stolen from Steeples Market in Fairfax, VT. Approximately 30 minutes later, at 0800, the credit card was used at Minors County Store in Fairfax, VT in the amount of $150.00. The suspect, a 5'7 white female believed to be in her late 30's was seen driving a White Toyota Sedan with stolen VT Plates DSL115. -On April 17, 2016, the female suspect was seen in Walmart in St. Albans attempting to use the credit card around 0914 hours. The female was attempting to buy $435.00 worth of miscellaneous items however the credit card was declined. On the morning April 18, 2016 the suspect attempted to use the stolen credit card at the Mobil Gas station in Cambridge, VT but again the card did not work. With the help of Williston VSP, Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department and Morrisville PD, the suspect was identified as Nicole Deuso (45) from Cambridge, VT.
Once the female was identified, Trp. Miller from the Williston Barracks located her at the Deer Run Motel in Cambridge, VT. After further investigation, Deuso was given a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on May 31, 2016 to answer to the charges of Poss. Of Stolen Property, DLS, and False Pretenses.
