SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On March 3, 2016, at approximately 2200 hours, individuals at the McDonald's/Shell Station located at 2822 US Route 7 in the Town of Ferrisburgh, Vermont informed a Vermont State Trooper and a Vergennes Police Officer inside the store that they believed an individual in the McDonald's drive-thru was intoxicated.
Officers spoke with the operator of the vehicle, Neil Marchesi, and were able to determine he had been drinking. Marchesi consented to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, but did not provide a preliminary breath test.
Marchesi was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and was transported to the New Haven State Police barracks where he was cited to appear in Addison County Superior Court Criminal Division on April 18, 2016 to answer to the charge of driving under the influence.
