Lane reduction - I89 north in Waterbury

Press Release – Highway / Traffic Notification


One lane of Interstate 89, northbound is in the area of mile-marker 61 in Waterbury, this is between exits 9 and 10 due to a vehicle crash.


Troopers and emergency responders are on-scene and are working to clear the lane as quickly and as safely as possible.  Specific details on the crash are not yet available, updates will be provided as appropriate.


Motorists should expect delays in the area, or seek alternate routes. Please call 511 for road conditions and drive carefully.
